Guests from Different Dojos
Guests from other dojos who wish to participate in schedule zazen sessions should arrive at least 30 minutes before a scheduled zazen to go over duties, responsibilities, and dojo etiquette.
Overnight Guests
The Temple has limited short-term accomodation for active Zen practitioners, including out-of-town visitors and those attending sesshin. Overnight guests must be associated with the New Orleans Sangha or another Zen dojo, and references may be required. Guests are considered residents, are provided shared quarters, and fully participate in the daily Temple schedule, including all zazen periods, samu (work practice), and any scheduled sesshin. If you have other obligations or plans during your stay, the staff must be informed beforehand.
